The team at Policy 4.0 has launched a unique Regulatory Clinic providing regulatory mentorship for emerging startups in the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem. The ideology behind this service is to provide a blend of legal, policy and operational guidance to startups for the anticipatory risks and build a bridge between the use-cases they plan to build. The regulatory clinic comprehensively assesses the tokenomics and engineering of the project to identify any potential areas of regulatory exposure in Indian or Global law with our network of leading legal expertise in cryptocurrency.
First Regulatory Clinic Pilot: LUMOS LABS
The team of Policy 4.0 partnered with Lumos Labs in the NEAR Blockchain Accelerator and provided regulatory mentorship for all the participating startups. We conducted one-on-one sessions with startups and discussed their project ecosystem along with the regulatory concerns.
During the sessions with the startups, we had use-cases defined by the developers in various segments of the industry such as Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT), Gaming, etc. The end result was concluded that the developers were uncertain and had marginal knowledge for building a regulatory compliance framework for their respective projects.
Through the sessions conducted, the founders of the startups got to know the regulatory exposure of the product or service they are planning to bring in the industry.
